Yes I have my brand new pc and I don't want to try possibly defect parts in it :-) That's why I want to buy a cheap graphic card to try just be sure not to force things. Alienware Alpha Black Screen I think I can't plug the alienware connector on the rampage motherboard or I don't know how and I'm not quite able to modify connector. Login, and i plug in my HDMI cable from my to tv to the hdmi out, and both screens appear, on my tv and moniter.
The fix is simple, install back the original card and disable the IGD once again. The lights on the keyboard and power/media contol panel come on. See everything is ok, the nvidia is installed (had to modify a few .inf files in the nvidia installation folder to get it to work) but there was no sound due Alienware M17x Black Screen Try alt + tab ...nothing happens try ctrl + alt + delete ...again nothing.

You may have to set it to use the integrated graphics card. It didn't say what it repaired, but upon reboot I reached desktop.
