I think this is because only port 25 is open in firewalld for smtp. Should we kill the features that users are not using frequently, to improve performance? I've tried following DigitalOcean's article, a howto on the CentOS wiki, and countless suggestions on various forums/message boards to no avail. Just as already stated above, you can't reach outbound email servers.
