Actually, I have not had this problem for a while. Then it will lag in the background processes and I have to go into task manager again to fully close it. the concept folders. I've also been getting an annoying issue where the fan on my laptop will come on.

I'm using Outlook only occasionally, and its CPU usage doesn't seam to correlate with my interaction with it. Are you a data center professional? Often I come back to the machine and avp.exe running at CPU 100% usage despite machine being idle at desktop. Significant consumer of this CPU is Outlook process from various users - Same symptoms in cached and non-cached mode - If users are 'disconnected', Outlook will continue to consume high CPU
Tried clean install twice to no avail. If soemthing comes else comes to mind and would kindly share your thoughts that would be great. My problem turned out to be my internal AR5005 wireless antenna. Varies how long before AVP.EXE resource hog raises it's ugly head again.
