Didn't really mess with anything. However, catch 22 is that all MS boot managers have to be on the "active" partition, so the NTLDR on the target drive cannot be used. Solved. To avoid any error, remove any other disk from the system. Such opinions may not be accurate and they are to be used at your own risk. Hi, I have a dual boot system of XP and Windows 7.
