But lets assume everything is ok and you are now back into Windows. It hung there for a while, then rebooted and this time it made it to 100% just fine. Shut down your computer after it's done installing the readiness tool to trigger a re-run of the automatic update. I was able to stop the endless update cycle and now my computer is back to working order.
